One of the very early 964 RS cars produced ( no. 72 – without holes in the seat cushions ) delivered in germany by the factory.
Great driver with full owner & service history over all the years ( almost every years documented with a service )
Delivered new by the factory in Stuttgart the car was then registered in the area and serviced at Porsche STRÄHLE in Schondorf for some years.
At a certain point in it#s early history the front left fender was replaced as written in the sales contract when the car was sold in 1999. The car was bought by a member of the Porsche Club Schweden and imported to Sweden where it stayed with this family till 2010.
In 2010 i bought the car of this family and later sold it to a german customer of mine.
The car was equipped with a periode correct optionen full MATTER rollcage that was mounted in the car at Porsche STRÄHLE when the car was new. This was on official option by the time for the customers who could not get a 964 RS Clubsport NGT or a 964 Cup car.
Later the owner in Sweden mounted a 3 – spoke steering wheel and the big red brake system of the 964 RSR3.8 / 964 Turbo S
Due to the fact that the owner was sharing the car with bis wife he decided later to fit a elctric-hydraulic power steering system as it was difficult for his wife with the manuel non power assisted steering. ( the originale RS-steering rack comes with the car and can be mounted again )
The over all milage is 84250 km but at 61000 km the engine got a full top end rebuild ( after one cylinder cracked in a very very hot summer ), at the same time the car got a new clutch and the twin – distributor was overhauled.
The last owner, a german gentleman, only used the car very little beside his several other sport cars.
Original magnesium wheels, aluminium front bonnet, original. Recaro bucket seats of the very first series, ” matching numbers ” engine & gearbox.
