We are so proud to offer this very very special car for sale one more time after we had sold it for the first time back in 2004 to a collection in scandinavia and than again in 2010 to a german collector.
This is one of just 5 Porsche 964 RS Clubsport made in “SIGNAL GREEN” and possibly the very best in existence. With just over 16 k km / about 9,5 k mls and in absolute superbe conditions A to Z.
Such a car is almost impossible to find but this particular car has an amazing and very special history. The car was bought new by one of the doctors working for Porsche during the early years of the Carrera Cup. He ordered the car at Porsche Stuttgart new in 1991 and said he wanted something as close to the 1990 Carrear Cup winning car of Olaf Manthey but road legal. Here you go – a signal green 964 RS ClubsportN-GT with the factory M003 race equipment. After a short while and with just about 1.000 km the clock the car was given to the “Technic Museum Sinnsheim” and put on display to show to the public. A couple of years later the top sales manager of Porsche Strähle, Mr. Roger Störzer, managed to find out who the owner was and bought the car of him. In 1997 the car was sold by Porsche Strähle to a good friends and customer of Mr. Roger Störzer in Stuttgart. This gentleman, Erich Ebner, kept the car from 1997 until 2003. Thomas J. Schmitz managed to buy the car late in 2003 with the help of Mr. Roger Störzer who was still working for Porsche Strähle. At that point of time the car had run 9400 km.
In early 2004 Thomas J. Schmitz sold the car into a private Porsche collection of two friends in scandinavia where this special car lived from 2004 until 2010.
In 2010 Thomas J. Schmitz bought the car back of these 2 collectors with just over 15.000 km and took it back to germany.
Later in the same year Thomas J. Schmitz sold the car to a private german collector.
For the last 14 years the car was in this private Porsche collection and not used at all. We managed to buy the car and gave it to the Porsche Center Münster for a big service and all necessary additional work to make it usable and drivable again after 14 years in hibernation. No effort and no money were saved to get this super rare and super special Porsche 964 RS Clubsport running again like new. Now we can present one of the very best 964 RS Clubsport cars for sale. Only about 5 or 7 of these 964 RS Clubsport cars where made in this color.
