Very nice and low milage 964 RS in jet black paint with black and tripple magenta interior trim.
This car was bought new in January 1992 at Porsche Recklinghausen in Germany by an Italian businessman via a german business partner and with his help.
The car was delivered at the end of January 1992 in germany, handed over to the Italian gentleman ( we have a picture of this from 1992 ) and was first registered on german papers due to the fact that in that days Italy still had high luxury taxes for cars above 2000 cmm and they had 20% VAT while in Germany it was only 14% VAT by the time.
By the end of 1993 the official export of the car was prepared with ” technical report ” translated to Italian language and verified by a notary before the car was than officially exported in early 1994 after the Italian law was changed by the 1st of January 1994 and the high luxury tax was not existing anymore.
Basically the car was only used by the same owner all the time and it spend almost all its life in Italy even that it was on german registration first. All old german registration documents, the technical report and translation, the export certificate and all Italian registration documents as well as all books, all keys, all tools are with the car.
In the year 1995 the face of the odometer started to crack and blocked the needle. ( usual 964 problem that can happen on all intrsuments ) The odometer was swapped at Porsche under warranty on the 13.03.1995 at 5462 km and this action was stamped in the service book and signed by the Porsche mechanic. The new odometer was of cause ready ” ZERO ” miles and so the actual milage on the replaced odometer + the 5462 km are the genuine overall milage of this car. = aprox. 13350 km.
The car was services at official Porsche centre 5 times with his first owner.
After the first owner of the car passed away his family sold the car to an investor / collector who never drove it but only had it serviced recently at an official Porsche Centre and stored it away.
The drivers door was once painted very thin ( 200 / 210 mü ) due to scratch many years ago. Beside that the car is all orig. paint.
