For sale is a genuine 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Maybe the most iconic Porsche 911 model ever.
The duck tail equipped 911 Carrera RS from 1973 was a milestone for Porsche.
Our car is a late production from the last series which was sold and delivered new in Hamburg / Germany in 1973 and several years later sold top the south of France where it lived for years.
During this years in France the car was repainted from it’s original color “signal yellow” to “Grand Prix white” with red decals as that was the most recognized color combination for a 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and very trendy in the days. ( some pictures are available )
Later the car sold to the UK and remained in Grand Prix white with red decals. ( some pictures are available )
Lately the RS was sold to Germany and was restored at a German marks specialist back to its original color and spec. ( documentation & pictures are available )
For a few years the car was part of a car collection near Dortmund / Germany and finally was bought by TJS as one of his personal rides in 2021 / 2022. ( pictures are available )
We had some cosmetical work done first and had the seats redone at a specialist before we had some mechanical work done at Porsche Münster incl. a very big service and new tires and another service and some additional work at KfZ Hotfiel’s famous Bernd Meier. Since we own the car it was taken to a long trip to Bavaria and later Switzerland and Villa D’este in Italy, to the 75 years party of Porsche at Hockenheim as well as some other nice events. In total we did 6.000 or 7.000 km in the car without a single problem. ( pictures are available )
The car comes with a big ring binder with history, old pictures, invoices etc.
A classic car in one of the best and most famous colors of the era. A sports car to be driven and enjoyed. An ” everybody’s darling” where ever you go no matter if you run into people of the “Green Party” or real car maniacs.
Please notice that currently 7 and 8 Fuchs wheels are mounted but the original 6 & 7 Fuchs in like new conditions are with the car as well as the original steering wheel while presently a smaller and thicker steering wheel is mounted.
